Daniel Wright

Integration Workshop Facilitator

Greetings! My name is Daniel Wright, and I am in my final year of graduate school for trauma-informed, transpersonal counseling psychology. On this platform my specialty is supporting journeyers make sense of their expanded states of consciousness with nonjudgmental, spiritual empathy – to process the emotions and content of both their acute experience as well as the related struggles that psychedelics often unearth from deep within our unconscious. I believe sharing the grace I have received from my Source with my clients can help them get in touch with their inner healer. Whether you are ready for deep reflective work or hesitant to dive in, we can work together to achieve your integration goals through your personal narrative, curious inquiry, creative expression, somatic mindfulness, and solutions-focused next steps. We will build comfort with each other, organize your possibly confusing and hard to communicate tornado of ideas, perceptions, and experiences surrounding your journey, and I will help you derive insight and meaning from it and finally integrate this into your every day life. Your journey does not end with an integration consultation, rather, I will act as a guide to help you find the next branch, the next destination of your trek.

As an integration specialist I focus on seeing my clients for who they truly are underneath labels, diagnoses, and stories of past hurt and worries of future pain. Your story is important to me, it often includes elements of intergenerational trauma, childhood neglect and abuse, societal pressures and self-imposed barriers all of which can deeply wound us, prompting us to seek psychedelic healing. I see my clients’ struggles as a reaction from a personality created over time to protect them from further wounding so that they can keep operating in our very imperfect, and often cold, unempathetic world. I strive to help my clients see their true selves under their armor and help them heal their own injuries to live a more authentic experience. I believe authenticity and integration of past experiences are vital to a healthier more satisfying life.

I follow a holistic framework recognizing the human experience includes distinct but inseparable elements of body, mind, and spirit and that they are inextricably linked to others through a universal connection. I believe the body stores trauma and being mindful of our bodies begins to inform our consciousness. Engaging the imagination and unconscious via creative processes like writing, artwork, and dance “unsticks” emotions and thought for further integration. And I advocate the psyche is a collection of parts, each capable of their own patterns of behaviors and feelings, resulting in both internal conflict in times of distress and, with deep healing, synergistic harmony. Lastly, I believe we are products of our environment, inescapably shaped by intergenerational wounding and societal conditioning; to deeply heal, we must introduce a healthier environment to override the years of programming previously imposed onto us. We are wounded in relationship, and we heal in relationship with others and in relationship with ourselves.

Outside of the mental health scene and psychedelic healing, Daniel enjoys smashing volleyballs, creating gnarly blisters climbing, paddleboarding, tabletop games, and anything Star Trek.

Peace and long life!
